PlayStation has unveiled the Prism Collection, a set of transparent designs for DualSense wireless controllers and PS5 console covers. The accessories come in Flare Orange, Emerald Green and Graphite Gray, each with a glossy finish.
The collection aims to give players a closer look at the design and craftsmanship of the console and controller while bringing a modern take on transparent accessories. PlayStation designers Leo Cardoso and Satoshi Aoyagi said the look was intended to recall the see-through trend of the late 1990s while complementing the PS5’s design. The controllers feature a clear, high-gloss finish across the back, alongside a metallic middle cover.
Prism Collection DualSense controllers will have a recommended retail price of $84.99 in the U.S. and €84.99 in Europe. Matching PS5 console covers are priced at $74.99 and €74.99, respectively. Prices and availability may differ by retailer and region.
The collection begins launching on February 4, 2027, with the exact date and availability varying by country or region. Pre-orders open November 10, 2026, at 10 a.m. local time through PlayStation where available and participating retailers. In the U.S., direct pre-orders begin at 7 a.m. PT; in the U.K. and listed European countries, they begin at 10 a.m. local time. Console covers will be sold directly by PlayStation in supported markets and in limited quantities through select retailers elsewhere.
