The PS5 edition of Metro Redux has been added to PlayStation Plus Premium ahead of this month’s official lineup of new games. Sony and publisher Deep Silver did not announce or highlight the addition, and the PS4 version of the bundle was already available through the service.

Metro Redux includes Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. The PS5 release offers 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, while PS5 Pro supports upscaled 4K at 120 frames per second with PSSR. Other listed enhancements include more detailed textures, improved shadows, lighting and shading, particle effects, updated animation and sound quality, low energy mode support, and real-time hardware tessellation and displacement.

Metro Exodus, the third game in the series, joined PS Plus Extra a few months ago. With Metro Redux now available on PS5 through Premium, all three games in the franchise can be played natively on the console through Sony’s subscription service.
