Sony is preparing a special preview of Until Dawn 2 ahead of the narrative horror game’s launch on PlayStation 5. Developed by Firesprite, the title is scheduled to release on January 28, 2027.
The game will be presented at an Alamo Drafthouse event on December 11, 2026. Attendees will be able to watch an exclusive gameplay showcase and take part in a horror movie marathon. The event will also feature special talent appearances, which may include members of the game’s cast.
Those unable to attend will be able to watch the gameplay presentation through a livestream. Sony has not yet announced further details about the broadcast.
Until Dawn 2 follows a new group of characters and tells a different story from the original game. Its protagonists are ghost hunters who travel to a remote island after receiving a television deal to document an abandoned resort and its mysteries.
As in the first Until Dawn, player decisions will shape the story and can have significant consequences for the group. Sony has been introducing the game’s characters individually while building anticipation for its release.
