Ubisoft is one of several companies that have reportedly submitted a bid for Arkane Studios, the developer behind Dishonored, as Microsoft explores selling the studio in the coming weeks. Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier reports that at least two other gaming firms have also tried to acquire it.

No agreement has been reached with Microsoft. The company has also considered selling Arkane to the studio’s management, according to the report.

A potential buyer would likely allow Arkane to complete development of Marvel’s Blade, which is expected to be released in the next year or two. A PlayStation 5 version has not been confirmed.

The deadline for a potential deal has reportedly moved from 13 November 2026 to 13 December. Schreier has previously said he is confident Arkane will continue under a different owner.
