PlayStation Blog has opened its Players’ Choice poll for October, inviting the community to select the month’s best new gaming experience. The releases highlighted include Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, Phantom Blade Zero, Silver Pines, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve.
The poll is held at the end of each month. Once voting closes, PlayStation Blog will count the results and announce the winner through its social channels and website.
Players can base their vote on any criteria they consider important, such as the one new release they would most recommend to a friend. Re-released games are not eligible, while remakes can qualify when they are larger-scale rebuilds, with Resident Evil 4 (2023) and Final Fantasy VII Remake given as examples.
The nominees are selected by the PlayStation Blog editorial team, which compiles a list of the month’s most noteworthy releases before using it to create the poll.
