A new mainline Hyperdimension Neptunia game is coming to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in 2027. Hyperspace Neptunia: Unlimited follows a gap since the last mainline entry in 2015, though the franchise has continued with spin-offs, sequels and re-releases.
The game first debuted in Japan earlier this year. Its western release is planned for 2027, but no specific date has been announced. The publisher describes it as an expansive magical-girl adventure featuring new mechanics and larger dungeons.
Players will be able to switch between running and flying to explore areas including waterways and rooftops, while searching for items and fighting enemies. Customisation options include changing the Goddesses’ colours, equipping accessories, upgrading Processor Units found in dungeons and using Disc Make to unlock abilities.
Physical editions are planned for both PlayStation consoles in North America. In Europe, a boxed release will be available only for PS5.
