Game Informer’s next issue will look back at Lara Croft and the Tomb Raider series across their 30-year history, with a cover featuring versions of the character from different eras. The artwork was created by franchise art director Brenoch Adams.
The 18-page feature will include 12 pages on Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, the upcoming remake, and a six-page retrospective on the classic games. Game Informer has also shared a new screenshot from the remake.
After visiting Crystal Dynamics and speaking with the Flying Wild Hog team, the magazine will examine why the developers are revisiting Lara Croft’s first adventure, how the remake differs from earlier versions, and the teams’ use of AI development tools. The feature will also discuss how Legacy of Atlantis sets up the upcoming Tomb Raider: Catalyst.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is scheduled to launch on PS5 on February 12, 2027.
